Vets For Sestak
A veterans’ political action committee known as VetPAC has endorsed Montgomery and Delaware County Congressman Joe Sestak in his Democratic primary race against U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. Korean and Vietnam War Veteran and Army Lieutenant General Robert Guard said he checked Sestak’s military record and found it to be outstanding.
“The Chief of Naval Operations for whom he served said that Admiral Sestak was courageous. A patriot’s patriot.”
Sestak, who was a Three-Star Admiral in the Navy, thanked the other officers and said something he learned there applies to his campaign.
“We learned in the military that war is politics by other means, but I recognize that politics is also war by other means at times, but it’s the way that we conduct it.”
Sestak Said Specter has been making dishonest attacks on his military record, and a lot of veterans will respond with their boots on the ground on Primary Election Day May 18.
