Dock Grad Now a Pirate
Kratz, a Christopher Dock graduate, was a career minor leaguer who was representing Indianapolis in Wednesday nights Triple A all-star game in Allentown. He was heading to Pittsburgh to replace catcher Jason Jaramillo, who after hitting just .124 in 24 games for the Bucs this year, was headed to Indy. Jaramillo was a fomer Phillies farmhand. The day had finally arrived. The 29th round daft pick of the Toronto Blue Jays, the guy that works a construction job in the off season to support his family-is heading to the show!
