Methacton High School Student Aces SAT

A junior at Methacton High School recently scored a perfect 2400 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test.   It ws the first time Neel Mehta took the test.   Only 360 of the 1.66 million students graduating in 2012 were able to get a perfect score.   Neel Mehta is active in extracurricular activities and serves as the student representative on the Methacton School Board.
 

Strike Averted in Wissahickon School District

The union representing support workers in the Wissahickon School District has called off a strike that was scheduled for early Monday morning.   In a statement, the Wissahickon Education Alliance announced that it will return to the bargaining table and abide by a 45-day cooling off period recommended by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.   A negotiating session is scheduled for November 29th.
   

AMH Closing Radiology School

Abington Memorial Hospital is closing its radiology school after the last class graduates in August of 2014.

LC Staying Open In Lansdale
