The Methacton School Board has heard a presentation on safety.

Superintendent of Schools Timothy Quinn says they have video surveillance cameras and driver’s license scanners at the high school and School Resource Officers patrolling the high school and Arcola Intermediate School and a solid relationship with Lower Providence Township Police.

He says officers even cross the border into Worcester, which does not have its own police department, and the district is one of the security leaders in Montgomery County.
