Montco District Beefing Up School Security
Upper Merion and Bridgeport Police are randomly patrolling schools every day using key cards to enter public, private and parochial school buildings in the Upper Merion district.
Upper Merion Police Chief Tom Nolan says the main goal is to make the schools less appealing to someone who may consider attacking them because they will know the police are daily visitors who could arrive at any moment.
