The Methacton School Board has altered its dress code, allowing students to dress down a little bit.

It’s done away with a long list of what is not appropriate and substituted such words as “neat,” “clean,” “modest,” and “in good taste.”

Board member Kim Woodring says the change is in response to a series of court rulings across the country that have upheld a student’s right to self-expression.
