The Souderton Area School Board has approved a budget that calls for $107.4 million in spending and a three percent property tax hike in the new school year. The average homeowner will pay about $122 more.  Before reaching the final figure, the board cut nearly $1 million in spending by reorganizing the middle schools and eliminating 13 teaching positions.
