Tree Limb Injures PSU Abington Students

Four students at Penn State’s Abington Campus were injured Monday afternoon when a tree limb fell on them. It happened on the first day of classes in an area students call the Duck Pond, where they go for lunch, studying and socializing.  The four were treated at Abington Memorial Hospital for head and back injuries.  Penn State issued a statement saying the university regularly checks the condition of its trees, and it will conduct a through review of the accident.
