NP School Board Approves Student Parking Fee
North Penn High School students who drive to school will pay for parking starting this fall.
The school board approved the fee as part of its budget for the new school year. Superintendent of Schools Curt Dietrich says the $50 fee is comparable to what students pay elsewhere. He says they checked a number of neighboring districts that already charge for parking and found that most were about the same and some were higher. It goes down to $10 for students who sign a waiver giving up their seat on the bus.
