NPHS Makes Top 500

booksNorth Penn has made “Newsweek” magazine’s list of the nation’s top 500 high schools. It came in at number 425, and it’s one of only three Montgomery County schools on the list.  The other two are Harriton and Lower Merion, both in the Lower Merion District.  Harriton was the highest-ranking Pennsylvania school, coming in at number 123.  Central Bucks East and West and Council Rock North and South were the only Bucks County schools on the list.  The rankings are based on four-year, on-time graduation rates, the percentage of students who enroll immediately in college, SAT scores and Advanced Placement courses, among other factors.
