BCCC Tuition Hike
The Bucks County Community College Trustees have approved a tuition hike for the 2011-2012 school year.
The tuition is going up by $6 per credit, and the technology fee is going up by $4 per credit, so students will pay $10 more per credit. That’s for residents. People who live outside the county will pay more. The typical resident student taking 12 credits per semester will have an increase of $240. Chairman Peter Dominick says they had to do it in the face of a state budget that cuts funding for the college by about $2 million.
