Wissahickon Enrollment Decline Predicted
A Pennsylvania Economy League report predicts the Wissahickon School District’s student population will continue falling over the next decade.
The nonprofit agency says it looked at development activity in the three municipalities that make up the district, looked at enrollment patterns over the last decade, and reached the conclusion that enrollments will drop by 6 percent in the next five years and 4.5 percent in the last five years of the decade.
