The Methacton School Board has approved a final budget that calls for more than $91 million in spending and a real estate tax hike of just over 5.5 percent in the new school year. A major spending item is more than $2 million to pay debt service and opening costs for the new Skyview Elementary School, which opens on September 7 along with all other Methacton schools.  The budget also includes a new user fee for high school extracurricular activities.
