The Souderton Area School Board has hired Frederick Johnson as the new superintendent of schools. He starts the job on July 1, a day after current Superintendent Charles Amuso retires.  Johnson is currently superintendent of the Selinsgrove Area School District in Central Pennsylvania.  Prior to taking that position he was a high school principal and English teacher.
