Woman Gets House Arrest In Bucks Co Corruption Case
The woman who was third in command behind long-time Bucks County Register of Wills Barbara Reilly has been given six to twelve months on house arrest.
The judge told 65-year-old Rebecca Kiefer he does not believe she is a bad person, but she made some bad choices in a scheme to illegally pay employees “under the table” with comp time in return for their work at the polls on Election Day. In effect they were using taxpayer dollars to do political work. The 76-year-old Reilly, of Bensalem, is also on house arrest.
