Lansdale Orders I.T. Study
Lansdale Council has hired a consultant to study the borough’s information technology capability.
Councilman Dan Dunigan says it will set a benchmark to find out where the borough is now and where it needs to be in the future, but that’s only the beginning.“They have the ability to provide us ongoing training, and one of the things they’re going to do to actually key that up and get that ready for the future is to sit down with all borough employees and assess their abilities relative to technology.”
The study will cost just under $59,000, which is about 25 percent less than what officials thought before they decided to go forward with it.
