The Lower Gwynedd Township Supervisors have approved a fund balance policy that sets down guidelines on how the township should manage its financial reserves. The idea is to make sure it follows the best practices and keeps its AAA bond rating, which lets it borrow money at the most favorable interest rates.  Lower Gwynedd has done better than many other townships during the current recession.
