The Whitpain Township Supervisors have approved a contract with LandConcepts, a firm that will prepare a plan for restoring three ponds at Prophecy Creek Park, on Route 73 next to Shady Grove Elementary School. The Park Master Plan found a need for work to improve the water quality and wildlife habitat and prevent flood damage.  The new plan will identify what needs to be done, which could include pulling some kinds of vegetation while planting others and repairing a dam.
