Horsham Township Council has approved a resolution opposing any future use of the runway at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, where the last military flights took off last week, never to return. Council members are urging residents to turn out at the April 20 Horsham Land Reuse Authority meeting to show that they support council’s position.  The Montgomery County Commissioners have applied to acquire the runway and mothball it for possible future use, and the Bucks County Airport Authority has applied to keep it open for small corporate aircraft.
