Fitzpatrick: Stopgap Spending Measure A Good Start
“I’m sure that all of the programs were well-intentioned in the beginning and they take on a life of their own, and this is a town where programs never go out of existence but you just keep creating new programs.”
Fitzpatrick says a recent study found not only that government programs are inefficient, but also that multiple agencies are doing the same thing. He says President Reagan once remarked that the closest thing to eternal life on earth is a government program. He appeared Thursday on the WNPV talk program Comment Please by Univest.
