The Bucks County Republican Committee has endorsed incumbent County Commissioners Charley Martin and Robert Loughery.
Martin is running for his fifth term, while Loughery is running for his first elected term. He was appointed about a month ago to succeed Jim Cawley, who stepped down when he became Lieutenant Governor. Former Commissioner Andy Warren is also running in the GOP primary, and the two who get the most votes will be on the November ballot. Their likely opponents are the endorsed Democrats, incumbent Commissioner Diane Marseglia and Doylestown Borough Councilman Det Ansinn.
