No Tax Hike In Montgomery Twp Budget
The Montgomery Township Supervisors have approved a budget that calls for more than $11 million in spending and no property tax hike next year.
The tax has stayed at the same rate since 2006. The budget gives police a four-percent pay raise and civilian employees a three-percent pay raise, and allows the township to hire one new police officer. The supervisors also approved a measure that sets up a vote for next month on a five-percent sewer rate increase.
