The Bucks County Commissioners are considering a budget that calls for nearly $464 million in spending and no real estate tax hike next year. It also avoids employee layoffs and provides for hiring four new employees including one chief deputy district attorney, one crime lab toxicologist and two Children and Youth social workers.  It projects a revenue gap of nearly $9 million, which the commissioners will probably close with money from a cash reserve known as the Rainy Day Fund.  Further spending cuts are also possible.  They will hold a budget hearing on Monday, December 6, and vote on it at their regular meeting the following week.
