The Hatfield Township Commissioners have voted to advertise a budget ordinance that calls for a new business privilege tax, a business license fee and a real estate tax hike. The vote does not mean all of those things will happen.  It simply meets a legal requirement for making those options available, but some kind of a tax increase is likely when the commissioners approve the budget next month.
