Gerlach: Dems Taking Country In Wrong Direction
“Government’s going to take over more and more of our lives and more and more of our society, and that’s not really what people were voting for a couple of years ago, so what I think happened from a practical perspective is after President Obama got sworn into office he basically delegated the legislative writing responsibilities to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, and they in turn really relied upon the more far left side of their party.”
Gerlach says the voters he talks to are not rebelling against incumbent members of congress. They are rebelling against runaway government spending, and they are ready for a change. He is a Republican and his November 2 election opponent is Democrat Manan Trivedi. Gerlach appeared Wednesday on the WNPV talk program Comment Please by Univest.
