Drexel Hill Man Sentenced For Copper Thefts

IT’S HOUSE ARREST FOR A DREXEL HILL MAN AFTER HE TELLS A JUDGE IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY COURT THAT HE RIPPED OFF MORE THAN 165-THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH OF COPPER FROM THREE VERIZON FACILITIES IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND BUCKS. 45-YEAR-OLD JAMES BASLER HAS BEEN ORDERED TO SERVE 23-MONTHS. THE FIRST 9-MONTHS WILL BE SERVED AS HOUSE ARREST. THE ADDITIONAL TIME OF HIS SENTENCE WILL BE PROBATION. THE THEFTS AT THE VERIZON FACILITIES HAPPENED BETWEEN 2007 AND 2010 IN POTTSTOWN AND LANSDALE, MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND CHURCHVILLE, BUCKS COUNTY.

 

Lansdale PD Puts Dragnet Out

Lansdale Police are asking the public for help in finding a suspected drug smuggler.   52-year-old Glendon Fenty of Philadelphia has eluded capture since he fled from police about a year-and-a-half ago.   A felony warrant is out for his arrest for facilitating the transport of 203 pounds of marijuana from Arizona to Lansdale.   He sped away when police spotted him unloading bales of the drug from a tractor trailer into his pickup truck.

   

Ex Cop Gets Jail Time For Hoax

A former Chalfont police officer who admitted making up a story about being shot while on duty has been given nine to 23 months in Bucks County Prison, followed by five years on probation, plus 250 hours of community service.

Jogger Killed

Montgomery County Detectives and Limerick Township Police are investigating a crash that killed a jogger.
