Girl Tells Police About Abuse By Montgomery Twp Man

A Montgomery Township man could face a prison term from 10 to 20 years after telling police and a judge that he sexually assaulted an 11-year-girl. The incidents happened in 2011 when Kareem Richardson was 18-years-old. An investigation in June of 2011 determined that Richardson sexually assaulted the 11-year-old when she was in his company. The young girl told a person close to her that Richardson had sexually assaulted her. she also told police about the sexual abuse. Richardson could also be declared a sexual predator under Megan’s law.
 

Man Sentenced For Series of Sex Assaults

An Upper Merion man was called “The Demon” for his actions between 2001 and 2005. 52-year-old, Burt Ludin’s past caught up with him in a Montgomery Court Room as his victims were able to confront him for molesting them when they were 11 to 15 years old. Court records show that Ludin molested and sexually assaulted three of the boys during that time and showed pornography to a 4th teen. Prosecutors, in asking the Judge to Ludin additional prison time, say Luden molested the boys at various locations in Bucks and Montgomery counties. Ludin was Sentenced from 17 to 34 years in prison.
   

North Phila. Man Charged with Attempted Murder

The peace of Easter Sunday is rattled when gunshots ring out in Lansdale Borough on the unit block of Ridge Street. Lansdale Borough Police Sergeant, Alex Kromdyk says the incident happened at around 4pm Sunday when Karim Walker opened fire on his girlfriend's brothers, a situation that had been brewing for several weeks. ”This wasn’t a random act, this wasn’t a robbery. It was a domestic related incident. We have a 20-year-old man from North Philadelphia in custody. He was found in his car following the incident” Police Charged Karim Walker with attempted murder and weapons offenses. Walker was stopped by Lower Gwynedd Twonship Police on Route-309 shortly after the shooting.No one was injured as a result of the gun fire. Walker is in the Montgomery County Prison on 500-thousand dollars bail. He faces an April 9th preliminary hearing.
 

Man Who Changed Bar-Codes at Chain Store is Sentenced.

His target was one of the largest stores in the nation, but in the end, a 36-year-old man’s scam would run its course.A Montgomery County Judge sentenced Damien Gasdaska to a prison term of 15 months to four years for being the mastermind of a scam that changed the bar-codes on merchandise at Target stores in Montgomery and Bucks Counties. Authorities say Gasdaska operated the scam between February and July of 2011. Cheltenham Police and Target Security were able to discover how the bar-codes were being changed. Court records show that Gasdaska opened an E-bay store, where 172-thousand dollars of the merchandise was sold to unknowing buyers.Authorities believe the scam was used in 9 other counties in Pennsylvania.Gasdaska’s last know addresses were in Allentown and Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
