Bucks County DA Rules Shooting Justifiable
Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler has ruled the shooting death of a Feasterville man justifiable. 50-year-old Kenneth Phillip was killed by a Northampton Township police officer last month less than an hour after he murdered his wife with a shotgun as she sat in the front seat of her car. The daughter of the victim was in the passenger seat of the vehicle as her mother was killed.
Upper Gwynedd Police Seek Child Luring Suspect
Upper Gwynedd police want to talk with a man that might have tried to lure a teeneage girl into the woods near Parkside place. Investigators say the suspect approached the 14-year-old as she was walking on the sidewalk and tried to engage her in conversation. The girl ignored him and started to walk faster but the suspect kept talking as he kept pace with her. She finally took her shoes off and ran across Sumneytown Pike to get away. The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s standing about five foot, ten inches tall. He had a skinny build and a mustache.
