Doctor Faces Drug Charges
A doctor who worked out of a Lafayette Hill office is in some hot water with authorities after being accused of writing prescriptions to drugs to three drug-dependent patients. Court records show that people who visited the office of doctor Michael Rosen referred to him as “doctor feel good.” After interviewing patients, dating back to 2011, police found that Rosen would prescribe drugs to patients even if they were not suffering from a particular condition, and he failed to check for symptoms. Court Date Set: Man Wanted in Series of Burglaries
A man who once lived in Lansdale will soon be in front of a Montgomery County Judge to answer for an alleged crime spree of theft, burglaries and identity theft that date back to 2005. Authorities say 37-year-old Haun Nguyen faces 22-felony charges stemming from burglaries at the silk factory lofts apartments in Lansdale in 2009. he was also connected to a 2005 jewelry heist in Philadelphia that netted 130-grand. Nguyen fled to Florida where he stole another man’s identity. Nguyen once lived at the silk factory apartments, but failed to pay his rent. various items belonging to residents were found in his loft. he also threatened his then girlfriend after she noticed a box of items and gun in his possession.
