Three residents and two firefighters were injured early Wednesday in a fire on Whitehall Road near Germantown Pike in East Norriton.

It broke out shortly after 1:00am.

The residents were hurt jumping from the second floor to escape the blaze, and the firefighters slipped and fell on ice.  The home was destroyed and the cause is under investigation.
