Man Admits Making Bombs
50-year-old John Grzyminski pleaded guilty to federal charges of possessing illegal weapons.
He lived with his mother in the Palomino Farms development off Route 611 in Warrington, and police evacuated parts of several streets there last may after she called to report finding a bomb in her kitchen.
Explosives technicians found two more in an upstairs bedroom and bomb-making materials in the garage, but a U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent says he is not considered a terrorist. Grzyminski told authorities he looked at them as fireworks, which he used for his own amusement and hunting bears. Hunting with explosives is illegal in Pennsylvania.
