A former teacher at Colonial Middle School in Plymouth Township, who admitted having inappropriate contact with five eighth or ninth grade boys, reports to Montgomery County Prison on Friday, September 7.

42-year-old William Schellinger of Gilbertsville pleaded guilty to indecent assault and corruption of minors.

He must serve three to 23 months followed by three years on probation.  The victims said he would touch them on their shoulders and back during tutoring or mentoring sessions and eventually move to more intimate parts of the body.  Two victims, now 18 years old, said he touched them under their pants.

The incidents occurred over a five-year period starting in the 2006-2007 school year.
