A Former Montgomery Township man convicted of first degree murder in his wife’s 2001 stabbing death has lost an appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. The high court denied 47-year-old Adam Rosen’s request for a new trial.  He claimed his Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination was violated at his trial, but the justices disagreed.

At his sentencing in 2008 Montgomery County Judge Paul Tressler, now retired, said Rosen killed his wife Hollie, who was 31 at the time, because he wanted to party and womanize.  He will continue serving life in state prison without parole.
