Guilty Plea In Condo Kickback Scheme
A Lansdale man has admitted his role in a condominium kickback scheme. Siemens Fire Safety salesman Keith Brandolph has agreed to testify in court against the others who were allegedly involved in the scheme, including the manager of the Plymouth Hill Condos on Germantown Pike in Plymouth Meeting.
Brandolph’s role involved overcharging for fire alarm systems and splitting the proceeds with the manager, 67-year-old Vincent Lopez of Quakertown.
Court documents say Lopez used credit cards and bank accounts opened in the condo council’s name to pay for his own lavish lifestyle including fine dining, liquor, jewelry, an expensive cell phone account for his wife and a trip to a Florida nudist resort with his mistress.
The two men and three other people allegedly stole about $600,000. Lopez’s father, also named Vincent, was a New York big band leader who was popular in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s.
