An Ambler man is accused of beating and seriously injuring a Lansdale man early Sunday morning, March 18, at the Fireside Bar and Grille, on South Bethlehem Pike in Upper Dublin Township. 35-year-old Marino Tambourino is charged with aggravated assault and other offenses.  The victim, 30-year-old David Rogers, suffered a fractured skull and other injuries.

Tambourino went to Upper Dublin Police Sunday evening and told them he confronted Rogers after the victim grabbed his wife, but he slipped and fell and injured himself.  A witness told a different story, saying Tambourino Grabbed Rogers and forcefully shoved his head and face onto the tile kitchen floor.
