Lansdale Police say a Wedgewood Drive resident was victimized over the weekend by a telephone scam. She received a call on Saturday telling her she could claim a Publisher’s Clearing House prize if she gave out her debit card number and PIN number for what the caller said were processing fees, which she did.  She closed her account on Sunday after finding it short by more than $273.  Police remind people not to give out debit or credit card information to anyone they do not know.
