Lottery Tix Stolen

PA_Lottery_LogoHatboro Police are investigating the theft of scratch-off lottery tickets from a North York Road convenience store. Pennsylvania Lottery officials discovered the theft when someone tried to cash in on a ticket that had not been activated.  Stores scan them into an automated system that activates them.  The lottery commission says a ticket that has not been activated cannot be redeemed.  Police advise people to buy tickets from an authorized dealer because a stolen ticket is worthless.
