A Lower Merion woman has told the township commissioners a police officer stalked and sexually assaulted her last year.
The 25-year-old woman said the man stalked her for about a month, sitting in a patrol car parked under her window, and he saw her naked. When she reported it to Lower Merion Police, she said one of his friends detained her illegally. She said it was violation of her rights, and the situation had been bothering her for more than a year. She said she came forward because she was looking for justice, not money. A township spokesperson says the police will send a DVD of the woman’s public comments to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
