DUI In Ice Cream Truck
An ice cream vendor is accused of driving his truck down a Bucks County highway while drunk.
46-year-old Yassir Hassan of Trenton, New Jersey was arrested Friday evening, May 13, on Route One south of Oxford Valley Road in Middletown. Police say they stopped him after a motorist called to report that his Jack and Jill truck was weaving all over the road. They say he was visibly drunk and several wine boxes were in the truck. They also found at least three water bottles filled with urine, and one was inside a freezer where he stored ice cream. An inspection done after his arrest also found that he had no hand-washing facilities inside the truck, as required by law. So far the only charge against him is DUI.
