Armed Threat Gets Man Jail Time
A Souderton man has admitted pulling a gun on a maintenance worker outside a Harrison Avenue apartment building last July.
46-year-old Carl Engelke, who lived in the building, pointed the gun at the worker’s face and threatened to blow his head off if he ever entered the apartment again. He pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats and possessing an instrument of crime, a nine millimeter handgun that he had to surrender to county detectives. He has been given two months in Montgomery County Prison, followed by two years on probation.
