A Bucks County man who admitted pointing a loaded gun at a snow blower operator during a January snowstorm has been given three months in prison.
26-year-old Eddie Simmons of Neshaminy Valley Drive in Bensalem pleaded guilty to making terroristic threats. His lawyer says he snapped when he saw a man who was removing snow from his apartment complex burying his car. Police say he put a gun to the man’s cheek and told him to move the snow or get shot. The man was not injured. Simmons has been in Bucks County Prison since the incident, and he should be eligible for parole in about two weeks. He told the judge he was very embarrassed and ashamed for what he did. It was the worst case of suburban “snow rage” reported during the early-winter storms.
