Sentencing Delayed In U Perk Forgery Case
An Upper Perkiomen Valley woman, who admitted stealing from her employer over a period of more than six years, has had her sentencing delayed while she tries to raise money to pay restitution.
48-year-old Marsha Grover of East Greenville pleaded guilty to felony forgery. She admitted forging the owners’ signatures on more than $150,000 worth of checks from Gochnauer Electric and using the money to pay her own bills. The company is a small, family-owned business on Cherry Street in East Greenville where she had been office manager.
