Manilla Gets An Allowance
Montgomery County lawyer David Manilla has been given an allowance of $10,000 a month to pay his bills.
Other than that, all of his assets are in an escrow account under Bucks County Court supervision. That’s the latest development in a wrongful death civil lawsuit filed by Theresa Groh, the widow of 52-year-old hunter Barry Groh of Quakertown. Manilla shot and killed him in late November as he dragged a deer along the Tohickon Creek in Richland Township. The 49-year-old Manilla, of Worcester, is also charged with involuntary manslaughter and other criminal offenses. His trial will probably start in May or June.
