Fire early Wednesday destroyed a single-family home near Routes 202 and 313 in Doylestown Township. It broke out shortly before 2:00am and ice, downed power lines and a fuel tank explosion complicated firefighting efforts.  No one was injured in the fire on Eljan Drive, a short cul-de-sac, but a pet cat died and the house was reduced to a pile of rubble.
