Guilty Plea In Graffiti Spree

graffittiA New Hanover man has admitted his role in a vandalism spree that left graffiti scrawled on numerous properties around Lansdale last year. 23-year-old Nicholas Damora has been given 11 1/2 to 23 months in Montgomery County Prison.  He pleaded guilty to criminal mischief and also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to sell in an unrelated incident.  He was arrested in March of last year for growing it at an apartment he rented on Elroy Road in Hatfield Township.  A second man, 23-year-old Jason Treadway of West Main Street in Lansdale, admitted his role in the graffiti spree earlier.  Both men must pay restitution to the victims.  An investigation into their activities started in early May, when police found fresh tags on the Third and Walnut Street Bar.  They were identified through video surveillance camera pictures, and police found cans of spray paint in Damora’s car that matched the colors used in the graffiti.
