Man Gets Long Prison Term For Killing Neighbor

prison_1A Former Norristown man who admitted shooting and killing a neighbor has been given 15 to 30 years in state prison. 55-year-old Joseph Pough pleaded guilty to third degree murder earlier this year in Montgomery County Court.  He was arrested in January in Southwest Philadelphia after being on the run for more than a year.  City police, acting on an anonymous tip that a murder suspect was staying at an apartment on Lindbergh Boulevard, arrested him without incident.  He killed Glenn Gundy, who was 47 years old at the time, in November of 2008 at the rooming house where they both lived on West Main Street in Norristown.  Police say the two men had argued over the condition of a bathroom they shared.
