Burglars Hit Check Cashing Agency
Two or more intruders got cash and cigarettes in a break-in at a Bucks County check cashing agency.
It happened late Sunday night or early Monday morning at United Check Cashing on Jacksonville Road in Warminster. The burglars broke into both a safe and an automatic teller machine, getting a large but undisclosed amount of money. Police Chief Michael Murphy says they also got lots of cigarettes, which are easily sold on the streets. He says surveillance cameras photographed them, but the pictures are not very helpful because they were all dressed the same and wearing black ski masks. He says it looks like a professional job.
