Pharmacist Gets Federal Time For Prescription Fraud

pillsA pharmacist from Bucks County has been given 46 months in federal prison for filling phony prescriptions. 47-year-old Thomas Fortunato of Warrington also loses his pharmacist’s license for at least ten years.  He admitted filling them for OxyContin, Percocet and other painkillers at the drug store he owned and operated in Springfield, Delaware County.  Three other men who re-sold the drugs on the streets were sent to federal prison earlier this year.
