Wissahickon firefighters rescued a disabled man from a burning home Wednesday afternoon in the Penllyn section of Lower Gwynedd Township.
They found him in a back bedroom of the West Avenue home, and he was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
