According to the County Coroner, a four-year old Royersford boy fatally shot himself with a firearm owned by his father. This information comes after an autopsy performed this morning. The incident happened at the boy’s home on Chestnut Street around 12:45pm Wednesday afternoon. Authorities say Michael DeSantis was found with a gunshot wound to his head and later died at Pottstown Memorial Hospital. The investigation continues into how the boy had access to the weapon.
